This is how I start to create every design. I hand drawn each design first with Indian ink and a dip pen. A dip pen is my favourite tool to use for drawing as it can be so unexpected. Each line can be made thicker, thinner, blotchy, accidental perfection!
After I've created this design, I then scan and edit the details to create my tote bag designs for screen printing.
